Inspired by the Hebrew word Karmel, meaning God’s sheltered garden, vineyard, or orchard, The Carmel Collective is a space where growth, restoration, and flourishing are possible. Like a garden, our lives move through seasons—times when the soil of our hearts needs tending, fences need rebuilding, or fresh life longs to bloom.

Endless to-do lists, constant changes, challenging classrooms, and unrealistic expectations can leave teachers depleted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from the joy that drew them to this vocation. A little of my back story...
After just a few short years in the classroom, I faced the real cost of burnout: exhaustion, frustration, and the creeping feeling that my dream of teaching was slipping away. I pressed on regardless and continued to teach around the world, and l've experienced firsthand how relentless schedules, endless to-do lists, and impossible expectations can wear down even the most dedicated educators.
At my lowest, I found hope and renewal through spiritual formation, counselling, and then, The Woman School Masterclass — a program that transformed the way I approach life and teaching, and the program that I share with educators today. It gave me practical tools, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose, helping me rebuild my energy, my identity, and my joy.
Today, 20 years into my teaching career, my mission is to walk alongside teachers and pass on the flame of the Masterclass. By sharing and facilitating this formation, I am part of a ripple effect — empowering teachers to reclaim their energy, joy, and wholeness, so they can thrive not just in the classroom, but in every part of life.
